100 Days In: A Visit With Jumping Great Jaimie Robinson

============

We caught up with one of the great track and field athletes in Illinois High School Association (IHSA) history, Jaimie Robinson. She began her prep career at Chicago De La Salle but later transferred to Homewood-Flossmoor

The one in high school known as "The Jaimie" took her senior year, 2017, by storm. In it, Robinson was a superstar in the 100, 200, long jump, relays, and triple jump. She won state titles in the 200 and LJ and set the all-time IHSA and all legal and all conditions TJ mark of 42'8.50" and 44'4", respectively.

Robinson enjoyed tremendous success at the collegiate level with the University of Alabama, the University of Oregon, and The Ohio State University, where she graduated in 2023. At OSU, Robinson won the Big 10 TJ title and earned her best finish nationally with a 9th place in the triple jump. Currently, she is competing professionally and has unfinished business to obtain.
