Summer training's been great; it's been different without all of my teammates that graduated this past year, but still good.

What are your goals for the upcoming season?

I'm looking to get the school record and give anyone I race this season a good race.

How long have you been running and how did you get started?

I started XC in 7th grade; when my siblings and I were young'uns we'd go out to the track with our dad, who was a decathlete, and run half a lap or a full lap on a good day.

Probably not in the regular season.

I would say Boardman; dunno why really.

The CVNP Woodridge Invite; it has good elevation and quick turns throughout. It keeps you on your toes.

What meet during the regular season do you put extra emphasize on to compete well at?

Probably the Boardman Invite, it's a nice meet to show how serious you are about the season.

What is your favorite cross country race so far in your high school career?

The 2012 Hoover Invitational was a lot of fun and a cool experience because our top 4 ran together the whole way through without planning it. We all just stuck with it and didn't want to be the one to fall off.

Favorite cross country memory?

Hmm, there's a lot of good ones for sure... Probably my Freshman year when we made it out to the State meet; we were so elated when we heard the speaker announced us as one of the top 4 to proceed.

When you are not running what is your favorite thing to do?

Going out with friends and whatnot.
