Wayne Invitational is On in Ohio- What to Look For!

The 16th Wayne Invitational is on now.  Here are a couple key events to watch for the results.  

Sr. Tyler Johnson of Stivers has the fastest times in qualifying in the 100 (10.78) and the 200 (21.74).  He is also the #1 seed in the 400 (48.44).  Can he pull off the Tri.  If he wins in the 100 and the 200 he'll have to hold off Mason's Nicholas Perry in the 400 (48.78) and Ta'Ron Bently of Trotwood-Madiso (48.90.)

In the 800 can Nick Cedillo of Madeira improve on his State leading 1:55.63 hold off a field of 9 others with times under 2:00.

In the 3200, 21 entrants range from the #1 seed held by Jr. Kevin Hennessey fo St. Charles who has run 9:20.24 to So. Karl Grossman of Carrol who has run 9:50.00.This will be a very competitive race.

On the girls side, So. Kylie Cutlip of Buckeye Trail has the fastest qualifying times in the 100mH (14.93) and the 300mH (42.77).  Jr. Natalie Price of Granville has the fastest qualifying times in the 100 (12.08) and the 200 24.74.  Can she hold off So. Suerethia Henderson of Lima Senior who is the #2 qualifyer in both (12.30) and (25.60).  

The girls 1,600 features Abby Nichols of Alter who has the top seed of 4:53.20.  

The 3,200 features Sr. Lainey Studebaker of Centerville (10:50).  Two other girls come in with times under 11:00:  So. Morgan Gigandet of Troy (10:54) and Centerville So. Kelli Walsh (10:57.97).
