Hillsboro Tri-Meet - Recap

MileSplit Ohio was on site to take in the action at the recent Hillsboro Tri-Meet in Hillsboro, Ohio. Athletes from Whiteoak High School, McClain High School and Hillsboro High School posted many notable results in the track and the field events.   

Chayden Pitzer of McClain High School made her presence known at the Hillsboro Tri-Meet, as she picked up wins in the 100m, 200m and 100m hurdles races. Her winning times were: 12.25 in the 100m, 26.16 in the 200m and 15.59 in the 100m hurdles event.

           McClain's Chayden Pitzer won the 100m hurdles race in a time of 15.59. 


Whiteoak's Taylor Tackett won the 400m race in a time of 1:01.00 and in the Pole Vault competition, it was Hope Tira of Hillsboro High School who took the win with a vault of 7-06.00.  


           Taylor Tackett separated herself by 5 seconds over her closest competitor in the 400m race.

On the boys side, Atlee Carr of Whiteoak High School won the 3200m race in a time of 11:34.00 and Hillsboro's Austin Goolsby claimed the win in the Pole Vault competition with a vault of 15-09.00.  


           Whiteoak's Atlee Carr won the 3200m race in a time of 11:34.00.  


           Austin Goolsby of Hillsboro High School won the Pole Vault event.

           Hillsboro's Deon Burns finished 2nd in the Shot Put competition with a throw of 42-05.00. 


           Tristan Pitzer of McClain HS finished 2nd in the Long Jump event with a mark of 19-11.00.


           Hillsboro High School won the 4 x 800m relay race.
