GlenOak Second Sole Eagle Elite - Meet Recap

           Chad Johnson set an Ohio #1 time in the 1600m race with his 4:14.38 result. 


The GlenOak Second Sole Eagle Elite meet took place at the GlenOak High School track in Canton, Ohio and four new Ohio #1 results were posted along with many other top ten state marks.    

Demetri Keaton of Warrensville Heights High School took a pair of impressive wins at the GlenOak Second Sole Eagle Elite meet.  Keaton won the 100m race in an Ohio #7 time of 10.85 and he took 1st place in the 200m race with his Ohio #6 result of 22.12.  


           Demetri Keaton took the 100m race win against an accomplished field of sprinters.  


           Demetri Keaton of Warrensville Heights HS focused on finishing strong in the 200m race. 


In the 400m race, De Amonte King of St. Vincent-St. Mary High School set the top time in the state with his 48.61 winning effort and Medina's Matthew Stump secured the 800m win with his Ohio #10 time of 1:57.66.  


           De Amonte King produced an outstanding time of 48.61 to win the 400m race. 


           Matthew Stump edged Nicholas Bame of Hardin Northern HS in an exciting 800m contest.  


Colonel Crawford's Chad Johnson established a new state #1 in the 1600m event with his stellar winning time of 4:14.38.  Johnson claimed the victory in a race that boasted the top five 1600m times in the state for the outdoor season and his mark also represents a U.S. #13 and a new outdoor P.R.  C.J. Ambrosio of St. Ignatius High School won the 3200m race with his Ohio #2 time of 9:17.84.  


           Chad Johnson made a statement in defeating a talented field of 1600m specialists.  


           C.J. Ambrosio of St. Ignatius High School recorded the 2nd best 3200m time in the state.  


Matt Peare of Hoover High School took the 110m hurdles win with his Ohio #3 time of 14.49 and Euclid's Adam White won the 300m hurdles race in a time of 40.78.  White's result represents an Ohio #29.  Matt Peare also won the Pole Vault event with his vault of 15-00.00.  


           Matt Peare demonstrated athleticism and concentration while winning the 110m hurdles. 


           Adam White put forth a strong effort while winning the 300m hurdles event. 


In the Shot Put event, Darian Kinnard of St. Ignatius High School claimed 1st place with his Ohio #7 throw of 56-11.50.  Kinnard also won the Discus competition with his Ohio #13 result of 161-01.

In relay action, GlenOak High School won the 4 x 100m with their Ohio #7 time of 43.02 and St. Vincent-St. Mary High School established a new state #1 time in winning the 4 x 200m.  The Fighting Irish produced a time of 1:27.87.  


           GlenOak High School captured the 4 x 100m relay win on their home track.  


           St. Vincent-St. Mary High School set a new state #1 in winning the 4 x 200m relay. 


Canton McKinley High School were the winners of the 4 x 400m relay as they recorded an Ohio #3 time of 3:23.15.  Louisville High School took the 4 x 800m relay win with their Ohio #1 time of 7:51.29.


           Canton McKinley High School won the 4 x 400m relay race with their 3:23.15 effort. 


           Louisville HS demonstrated effective baton exchanges during their 4 x 800m relay win.


Caisja Chandler of Euclid High School registered wins in both the 100m and 200m races.  Her time of 12.22 is a tie for Ohio #7 while her 25.35 effort in the 200m edged Azure Curtis of Canton McKinley High School.  Curtis took 2nd place with her time of 26.63.


           Caisja Chandler picked up two individual wins at the GlenOak Second Sole Eagle Elite meet.


           Euclid's Caisja Chandler finished strong to win the 200m race in a time of 25.35. 


Mika Cox of Reynoldsburg High School captured the 400m race win with her Ohio tie for #4 time of 57.73 and Medina's Juliette Keller won the 800m event in 2:20.07.  Keller's result represents an Ohio #9.    


           Mika Cox of Reynoldsburg High School won the 400m race in a time of 57.73. 


           Juliette Keller of Medina High School edged Lauren Dolak to take the 800m race win. 


Medina's Tarynn Cullings won the 1600m race with her Ohio #17 result of 5:11.77 and Sophie Carrier of Shaker Heights High School took the win in the 3200m event with her Ohio #6 time of 11:03.22.


           Tarynn Cullings secured the 1600m race win with her time of 5:11.77.  


           Sophie Carrier recorded the 6th ranked time in the state with her 3200m win. 


Nina Jones of Warrensville Heights High School secured the 100m hurdles win with her 15.23 effort. This result represents an Ohio #16 for the outdoor season.  Sara Foster of St. Vincent-St. Mary High School won the 300m hurdles race in 45.48.  


           Nina Jones of Warrensville Heights HS won the 100m hurdles race in a time of 15.23.


           Sara Foster of St. Vincent-St. Mary High School won the 300m hurdles event in 45.48.


Reynoldsburg High School won the 4 x 100m relay in 49.71 and Euclid High School took 1st place in the 4 x 200m relay with their Ohio #4 result of 1:44.37.


           Reynoldsburg High School won the 4 x 100m relay race in a time of 49.71.   


           Caisja Chandler sealed the 4 x 200m relay win for Euclid High School


Austintown Fitch High School secured the win in the 4 x 400m relay in an Ohio #8 time of 4:03.50 and Medina High School were the winners of the 4 x 800m relay race, as they produced an Ohio #6 time of 9:40.23 on route to their 1st place finish.


           Lauren Dolak helped Austintown Fitch High School win the 4 x 400m relay race. 


           Medina High School executed successful transitions on route to winning the 4 x 800m event.
