Lake Catholic's Del'Mario Hairston won the 100m race at the Lake Catholic Tri-Meet.
The Lake Catholic Tri-Meet took place at Lake Catholic High School in Mentor, Ohio and it involved athletes from VASJ, Trinity and Lake Catholic.
Del'Mario Hairston of Lake Catholic High School won the 100m race in a time of 11.09 and he also took 1st place in the Long Jump competition with his jump of 21-10.

Nate Dean of VASJ captured an exciting win in the 400m race, as he posted an impressive time of 50.07. Dean demonstrated a strong kick over the final 100m to edge Lake Catholic's Del'Mario Hairston for the win. Hairston recorded a time of 50.91 to secure 2nd place.

Lake Catholic's Connor Duricky won the 200m race in a time of 22.45 and he also took the win in the 110m hurdles event with his 14.90 result.

Lake Catholic athletes finished 1 - 2 in the 1600m race as Alex Hansel claimed the win in 4:54.60 and Colin Waddle took 2nd place with his time of 4:55.30. Hansel and Waddle ran together for the majority of the race as a tempo run in preparation for an upcoming meet.

Matt Kirchner of Lake Catholic High School edged his teammate Keller Dittoe for the 3200m win. Kirchner recorded a time of 10:45.10 and Dittoe posted a 10:46.70 result. Similar to how the 1600m race unfolded, Kirchner and Dittoe (who are good friends and training partners) used this opportunity to get some quality training in. Both of these athletes hope to set a new P.R. at the 3200m distance later this season.

In team relay action, VASJ won the 4 x 100m in an impressive time of 45.06. VASJ also had a strong showing in the 4 x 200m relay as they recorded a 2nd place finish with a time of 1:32.30. Lake Catholic High School won the 4 x 200m with their 1:31.90 effort.

Lake Catholic's Silvija Taraska won the 100m race in 13.20 and her teammate, Chloe Keating took the win in the 400m event with her 1:05.10 effort.

Noelle Sadar of Trinity High School claimed an emphatic win in the 1600m race with her finishing time of 6:07.10. Sadar was racing against the clock over the last lap and in the end, she had separated herself from the 2nd place finisher by 17 seconds.

Trinity's Sydney Wrabel won the 300m hurdles race in a time of 49.52 and Abbey Rojeck of Lake Catholic High School took the win in the 3200m event with her 12:28.70 result.

VASJ were the winners of the 4 x 100m relay as they produced a time of 54.08. VASJ junior, Lora Stewart ran a strong anchor leg for the Vikings to seal their team victory.
