Congratulations to Mason High School freshmen Erin Tumulty and Ellie Horvath on their impressive performances at the recent Mason Invitational.
Erin Tumulty finished in 20th place with her time of 19:53.10. This result represents an Ohio tie for #42 for freshmen, a new PR and a 10 second improvement on her previous season's best time. Ellie Horvath followed Tumulty in the standings as she took 21st place with her 19:53.90 result. Her time is an Ohio #44 for 2021 grads, a new PR and a 32 second improvement on her previous best time of the season.
Mason High School coach, Chip Dobson indicates that both athletes are "coming on strong lately" and are "tough runners with great attitudes." Look for Erin Tumulty and Ellie Horvath to demonstrate continued progress as the 2017 XC season unfolds.
