Carroll's Kevin Agnew recorded a time of 16:43.20 to finish 16th at the Mason Invitational.
Carroll High School's Kevin Agnew has proven to be one of the state's top performing freshmen up to this point in the 2017 XC season. Agnew has raced the 5K distance twice and he's comfortably broken 17 minutes on both occasions and he's also lined up in a 3200m event where he posted a time of just over 11 minutes.
Kevin Agnew's most recent performance was a 16:43.20 effort where he placed an impressive 16th against a talent-rich field at the Mason Invitational. Agnew was the first freshman to cross the line in the Section 1 Varsity race. Agnew is ranked 3rd in Ohio and 37th in the country among 2021 grads due to his 16:35.60 result at August's Bob Schul Invitational.
