Beachwood's Mia Knight will continue her track career at the University of Pennsylvania.

One of Ohio's top sprinters has confirmed where she'll compete at the college level.  Beachwood High School's Mia Knight will join the indoor and outdoor track teams at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia next year!

           Mia Knight is a key member of Beachwood's 4 x 100m and 4 x 200m relay teams.

Mia Knight currently holds impressive PR's of: 60m (indoor) - 7.52, 100m (outdoor) - 11.82 and 200m (outdoor) - 24.95.  Knight, who is a two time D2 / D3 indoor state champion in the 200m event, can draw on her big meet experience when she begins her freshman season for the Quakers.  In addition to being a regular at indoor and outdoor state championships, Knight has also competed at the MileSplit Scholastic Showcase at SPIRE, the AAU Junior Olympic Games and New Balance Nationals Indoor.

Congratulations to Mia Knight and best of luck for continued success at the University of Pennsylvania
