Rocky River's Eddie Zuercher finished 1st in the Division 2 race with his time of 15:59.79.
MileSplit Ohio's Christian Lisle was on-site in Youngstown to cover the cross country action at the OHSAA Regions 1, 5 & 9 (Boardman) meet on Saturday, where teams and athletes were vying for invites to the upcoming Ohio State Championship.

- Region 1 - Division 1 Boys:
Top seven teams and those individuals that finish in the top 28 advance to the state meet.
- Region 1 - Division 1 Girls:
Top seven teams and those individuals that finish in the top 28 advance to the state meet.
- Region 5 - Division 2 Boys:
Top six teams and those individuals that finish in the top 24 advance to the state meet.
- Region 5 - Division 2 Girls:
Top six teams and those individuals that finish in the top 24 advance to the state meet.
- Region 9 - Division 3 Boys:
Top four teams and those individuals that finish in the top 16 advance to the state meet.
- Region 9 - Division 3 Girls:
Top three teams and those individuals that finish in the top 12 advance to the state meet.
