Pickerington Central's Zac Robinson Is Headed To The University Of Akron

Pickerington Central's Zac Robinson will compete for the University of Akron next year.

One of the state's top 400m runners has decided on his college choice.  Pickerington Central's Zac Robinson has announced that he'll be competing for the University of Akron next year!

Robinson shared this news in a recent Twitter post:

Zac Robinson has experienced success in the 60m, 100m and 200m events during his high school career, but his specialty is the 400m where he holds an impressive PR of 48.02 (outdoor).  Robinson was the 2017 OATCCC Indoor State Champion in the 400m and he's a key member of Pickerington Central's relay team.

MileSplit Ohio reached Robinson's coach, Tremayne Peppers, for more insight:

"Zac is the hardest working athlete on the team and I'm very excited for him because he gave me everything, everyday to get to where he is today."

Best of luck to Zac as he prepares to compete in the NCAA!

Robinson will look to add to his state championship collection prior to departing for Akron.
