Led by Eric Pensari, Livonia Churchill secured the Division I team victory at this past weekend's Huron Invitational, which was hosted by New Boston Huron. The Chargers scored 37 points to earn a comfortable win over second place Grosse Pointe South, who recorded 71 points.
Pensari finished second overall with his time of 16:41.40; this result represents a new pr for the senior. He was supplied with quality support from teammates Brendan McCoy (5th place - 17:15.90), Cameron Kruse (7th place - 17:28.60), Joshua Momeyer (9th place - 17:30.80) and Hunter Watson (14th place - 17:42.10).
Abdullah Nassr of Dearborn Edsel Ford earned the overall individual win due to his 16:32.10 effort.
