Mount Lebanon Secures Solid Legends Win

Mount Lebanon went out-of-state to grab a win this past weekend. The PA#5 boys went to The Legends Meet in Cortland, Ohio, capturing the D1 title.

Led by another strong showing from Patrick Anderson, Lebo scored 67 points to edge out second place Louisville (OH). Anderson went 16:30 in some muddy conditions to place second overall, only behind race winner Ryan Adkins of Twinsburg (OH).

But Lebo showed off some good depth after Anderson. Alex Brokaw placed fourth in 16:59, providing a solid lowstick for the meet champs. Peter Cosentino (14th), Quinn Mitchell (21st), and Clark Mitchell (26th) all posted strong scoring performances.

It's a talented District 7 (WPIAL) Class AAA this season with PA#1 North Allegheny and PA#4 Seneca Valley making plenty of noise across the state, but Mount Lebanon is still proving it can contend with those squads.

Good thing the WPIAL gets three state qualifying spots in AAA.
