Savannah Dennison Talks Middle School State Title And Goals


Savannah Dennison recorded a two mile time of 11:25.70 to capture the win at the Middle School State Championship, which was held at Dublin Jerome High School on October 20th.  

The eighth grader from Lake County went undefeated this season and set a personal best time of 11:16 at one of her earlier races.  Dennison also excels on the road racing circuit and the track, where she often seeks out opportunities to test herself against more experienced opposition.    

In addition to her individual triumph at State's, Dennison, who represents Mentor Memorial, guided her squad to a third place finish in the team standings.  

           Savannah Dennison collected individual and team hardware at the State Championship.

Savannah is a very goal-oriented young lady, who will be finishing off her 2018 cross country season by racing against elite level competition at the Coaches National Meet in Louisville, KY, the AAU Nationals in Knoxville, TN and the USATF Nationals in Reno, NV.
