John Carroll Women's Cross Country Ranked Eighth In Latest USTFCCCA Regional Poll

The JCU women's cross country team is ranked eighth in the Great Lakes Region
The John Carroll women's cross country team received a vote of confidence by the United States Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) in the week leading up to the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships.

According to the USTFCCCA polls released on October 27, the Blue Streak women were tabbed eighth in the Great Lakes Region. Calvin topped the regional rankings, followed by DePauw, case Reserve, Oberlin, and Hope. Baldwin-Wallace, Ohio Northern, John Carroll, Otterbein and Wittenberg round out the top ten.

John Carroll has won three meets this fall (Walsh College Ric Sayre Invitational, Salisbury University Don Cathcart Invitational and Wilmington College Invitational) and is expected to challenge for a conference title this weekend at the OAC Championship meet. It will be held on the same course that JCU won at earlier this season at Wilmington College on Saturday, October 31.
