The Pioneer women collected 89.50 points and finished behind only Baldwin-Wallace College, who won the 19-school competition with 103 points. Pioneer men compiled 28 points to tie with Denison University for 10th.

Sophomore Mike Pankowski (Pittsburgh, Pa., Woodland Hills) anchored the men's performance with a victory in the Javelin Throw and also improved his chance of competing at the upcoming NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship, which will be hosted by Baldwin-Wallace May 27-29. Pankowski, who last week met the NCAA Provisional Qualifying Standard, broke the school and meet record with a toss of 60.91m (199-10). The mark raced him up the list and into the top 10 of national qualifiers. Pankowski also won the Javelin at All-Ohio in 2006, which was the only other year he has competed for Marietta.

Four other Pioneer men received All-Ohio honors in the 4x100m Relay. Freshman Willam McCulloch (Nelsonville, York), junior Matt Hickman (St. Mary's, W.Va., St. Mary's), sophomore Ryan Householder (Frazeysburg, Tri-Valley) and junior Anthony Williams (Columbus, Bishop Hartley) crossed the line 42.80 seconds to place third overall.

Ten women earned All-Ohio recognition with their top-three finishes on Saturday. Sophomore Corryn Muench (Cold Spring, Ky., Newport Central Catholic) picked up a trio of All-Ohio medals after taking third in the 400m Hurdles with a personal record time of 1:06.84. She also teamed with sophomore Brittany Sims (Columbus, Eastmoor Academy), senior Christi Tims (Olmsted Township, Olmsted Falls) and sophomore Lauren Asbury (White Sulphur Springs, W.Va., Greenbrier East) to take runner-up in the 4x100m Relay with a time of 49.01 seconds. Freshman Kristeva Rowe (Toledo, Sylvania Southview), Tims, Muench and Sims closed out the competition with another second place finish in the 4x400m Relay, crossing the line in a season's best 4:01.59.

Sophomore Ashley Bault (Atwater, Waterloo) earned All-Ohio in both the Long Jump and Triple Jump in 2010. The jumps specialist finished runner-up in the Long Jump with a mark of 5.35m (11-03.75) and then took third in the Triple Jump with a top mark of 10.52m (34-06.25). Senior Sarita Dhiraprasiddhi (Hilliard, Darby) joined Bault in receiving All-Ohio honors in the Triple Jump as she placed runner-up with a personal record leap of 10.81m (35-05.75).

Sophomore Kim Keesler (Chagrin Falls, Chagrin Falls) took runner-up in the Pole Vault with a top clearance of 3.45m (11-03.75).
