TOLEDO, OH - Freshmen Kiah Douglas and Devyn Ramsay have qualified for the 2010 USA Junior (Under-20) Track and Field Championships. The Championships take place June 23-27, 2010 at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa.

Douglas qualified in the long jump at 19-08.00 and is currently ranked second in the MAC in that event. Ramsay qualified in the 5000-meter run with her time of 17:39 and is currently ranked ninth in the MAC in that event.

"It is a great sign for our program's future when we are signing athletes that are ranked as some of the top freshmen in the country," Kevin Hadsell, director of track and field, said.

The duo, along with the rest of the Rockets, will first challenge for the MAC Championships, which take place Thursday-Saturday at the University at Buffalo.
