NORTH ROYALTON:

North Royalton High School crowned its 2012 Homecoming King and Queen before Friday night's football game at Serpentini Chevrolet Stadium.

Ryan Maloney was named king and Anna Jaimes was named queen from a homecoming court of 10 candidates. The new royalty was crowned by last year's winners, Eric Barfell and Alexandra Tuma.

Jaimes is a Link Leader and participates in Student Government, track and Yearbook Club. She also works as a nanny and at Chick-Fil-A, and plans on studying nursing at Indiana Wesleyan University or Cedarville University. Jaimes has two sisters, Brittany and Jessica, and was escorted Friday night by her parents, Melinda and Harold Jaimes.

Maloney is a member of the Bears track and field team, Spirit Club and Letterman’s Club. He is also a Link Leader and plans on studying criminal justice at Mount Union, Ohio Northern or the University of Cincinnati. Maloney has a sister, Ashley, and was escorted Friday night by his parents, Mike and Deb Maloney.
