While many events put up great results, none showed more talent than the 400m dash, where Ohio shined the brightest. On the girls side, Ohio took home 1st and 4th place finishes with speedster Meshawn Graham going sub 54 seconds once again, while the boys swept the top three places with John Gaugenti going sub 47 seconds to lead the way. • Midwest Meet of Champions

The Midwest Meet of Champions brings together the best senior athletes from Ohio, Michigan and Indiana for a one day, top notch track meet. This year the meet will again be held at Jackson High School in Jackson. Michigan on Saturday, June 14th. Events will start with the women's pole vault at noon. Rosters are current as of Wednesday morning. Although the staff makes every effort to have firm event assignments, it must be recognized that this can become fluid due to late roster additions or scratches. All athletes listed, however, have a confirmed roster slot and will travel to Michigan and compete with Team Ohio. Selections were based on performance from a pool of athletes who 'declared' by filling out an information card at the Midwest Meet of Champions tent during the state meet. Athletes were contacted by their event coaches Sunday and Monday after the state meet. OHRunners would like to wish all of the Ohio athletes good luck. Go Team Ohio!
