This year’s Wayne Invitational will bring out some of the best talent statewide in track and field. Individual state champions as well as former team champions are recognizable when you see the teams competing.

Chris Uhle broke the all time Ohio Record with a vault of 16-6 at Olentangy Liberty Freedom Relays this past Saturday. Chris broke the previous record of 16-4 by John Coyne of Buckeye High School in 1986.

THE Eastern Relays took place this weekend and there was plenty to talk about even with the weather cutting things short. Here's a recap of the weekend's happenings. (Pictured: Megan Klein of Paul Dunbar)

4/21/10 Weekly Update

Justin Welch posted the the top mark in the nation this year in the Hammer at the University of Toledo HS Invite by heaving the ball and chain 243-2. Welch also posted on of the best, if not the best throws triple in history by adding a 198-10 discus toss, and throw of 59-8.75 in the shot put.

The second week of track of is now in the books, and for the first time in a long time, Ohio had beautiful weather to start the season. Times and distances this early in the season reflect this unusually nice weather
