Is there anywhere online we can see results of Brunswick's Elite meet from this last weekend? There were limited results in the Plain Dealer, but I would like to see the full results if possible.

I have the results but many of the times are very inaccurate at best. The meet is timed mostly by kids and is hand timed and place picked. For instance we had a kid run the 100meter winning the slow heat in 10.90, which would have been 2nd, the timers had him in 11.11 for 4th. We expect and know this will happen at Brunswick. If either of you have fax's I can fax it to you or simply tell you the real times of what you are looking for!

Hand timing can be very problematic. If results are going to be published from this meet then they should be posted as hand times, which means showing them in tenths of a second-which in your example would be 11.2 rather than 11.11.

Some things are better when you stay out of things Slim. If you read my text I said he ran 10.9 not 11.11 which is what was listed. I know what he ran so in a meet like that which means nothing it isn't worth arguing especially when 3 coaches had near the same time!

Did you protest the times at the meet?

My comment about the hand timing was directed at the meet management as that is a common problem in Ohio High Schools.

This will be the last post from me as I dont believe in these forums. Keith you have too much time on your hands, you need to get a life and stop spending so much times in other people's business. I expect you and will give you the last word, but in the meantime go do something productive instead of just blabbing off at the mouth OUT!

The Brunswick Meet is a great opportunity for early season competition in a low key, yet competitive atmosphere.
In reply to stevenjays outburst in the last two posts, I saw you, stevenjay, at this meet and I was embarrassed for you. You made a spectacle (arse) of you and everyone associated with you. You need to control yourself. Enrolling you in anger management courses and/or psychological counseling by those people who are legally responsible for your care and supervision needs to be seriously considered (re: mandatory).

Coach Whitman....keep on pumping out that enthusiasm for our sport!
