KENNETH BEARD INVITATIONAL

WHERE: LOWRY FIELDMILTON UNION SCHOOLS, WEST MILTON, OHIO
POINTS OF INFORMATION
1. Each team is allowed to enter 3 contestants per event. In the Shot Put and Discus you may enter 3 contestants. (See SPECIAL RELAY below)
2. Entry fee: $175.00 per school.
3. Admission: $6.00 adults/$5.00 students
4. 1/4" cone shaped spikes and smaller cone shaped spikes are allowed. Spikes are on sale at the concession stand. No needle spikes.
5. Starting blocks (Moye and regular) will be provided and must be used.
6. Chalk and cut tennis balls will be used for marking check points. NO TAPE!
7. Camps must be set up outside the track area and north of the concession stand. No camps in or under bleachers.

SHOT AND DISCUS INFORMATION: To keep the meet moving, in the Girls Shot Put, no put will be measured under 20'. In the Girls Discus, no throw will be measured under 50'. In the Boys Shot Put, no put will be measured under 30'. In the Boys Discus, no throw will be measured under 90'.
AWARDS: There will be individual awards for each event consisting of 1 first place medal and 7 ribbons. Team awards will consist of a champion and runner-up boys team, a champion and runner-up girls team, and an overall championship for the highest combined boys and girls score. Third and fourth Place team trophies will also be awarded. We will Score 8 places.
SPECIAL RELAY: 4 X 100 Iron Man/Iron Woman Relay. This relay will be run as the final two events of the meet and the points earned count towards the championship. Only actual contestants in the shot and discus are permitted to run. (This is the reason for 3 contestants in the Shot and Discus) One relay for boys and one for girls. Watch out for the 4 event limit. (This counts)
400 HURDLES: 400 Hurdles will be run in place of the 300 Hurdles.
