Hey all,
I just wanted to check in again for the indoor season. We have shifted gears away from Cross Country and Milesplit is an important part of our indoor season here in Ohio. With that in mind we are going to be ramping up coverage. We will have more content online to look at, but a lot of it will be subscription-based. I can assure you that our official rankings list will stay free, however. Another thing for everyone, if you run unattached during an indoor meet, you will not show up in the rankings for the state meet. I parse those results through last so as to not get the lists gunked up. We have changed some of our processes as well for the entire network, so as to be more uniform and reach our audience better. I personally will be doing an athlete of the week "award" to showcase some deserving performers. If you would like to have someone considered, email me. I also am hoping to eventually get some team polls involved here as well, with you, the customers, having input on the final standings. I also hope to have a very exciting announcement for later in the season, but I will not get into details with that until it is official. I know it was a bit of a transition for this fall, but this indoor season will be pretty awesome. Also for those of you worried about the filters for rankings, I will be getting to that when I can. Hopefully we can get the assignments up soon. Have a good season everyone and let's continue to kick butt here in Ohio.
