Annie Heffernan of St. Ursula Academy in Cincinnati is currently ranked #10 in the country in the mile and leads the state of Ohio after her 4:49 victory at the Eastern Relays in Kentucky this past weekend. Heffernan has yet to throw down a fast 3200 or two mile this spring, but certainly shows she is ready to after her mile win this past weekend. Heffernan has finished in the top 3 at the last two New Balance Nationals track meets in the two mile including a 10:12 PR at the indoor nationals this past March.
