Sammy Watson of Rush Henrietta HS in NY ran a US #1 2:09.27 in the 800m!

First, a great thanks to all who braved the North East Ohio weather and white out conditions to get to the meet. It was cold outside, but on the inside, the athletes burned up the track. 10 new meet records and HS facilities records were set.

The Records

On the girls side, two new records were set.

North Royalton's Kristen Denk continue her impressive Pole Vault indoor season. She went 13'0 in setting a new Meet record.
The Speed Academy from Toronto set a new record in the girl's 4 x 400 running a 3:46.34.

The boy's set 8 new records:

Wiliam Allen of Paul Dunbar in KY leading the way with a US #3 400m in a time of 47.77.
Hudson's Gavin Gaynor won the 1600m in a record time of 4:16.18 (US #5). Gaynor outlasted Paul Muhammad of Paul Dunbar (KY) who ran US #6 4:16.56.

Jaron Flournoy of Westland John Glen in Michigan won the 200m with a time of 21.38. (US # 3 21.36)

Elias Graca of Fox Chapel in PA ran a new PR in winning the 800m is 1:53.13 (US #4), holding of Saline's Logan Etzel (1:53.31 US #5).
Leaugen Frey of the Speed Academy in Toronto set a new HJ record with a leap of 6'10.
Jordan Geist of Knoch in PA threw the Shot 66'00.75. US #2!

Deakin Volz of Blooomington South in IN went 17'4.5 in the Pole Vault. He is ranked US #2 with a 17'10.5.
The Motor City Track Club (Oak Park) ran a 3:21.65 4x400m.
