Centerville Sr. Lainey Studebaker is the Ohio Milesplit Female Cross Country Runner of the Year!  

Studebaker was the Senior leader of a very young Centerville girls team that won the D1 State title, won the NXN Midwest Regional and finished 11th at NXN.  She ended her Senior Cross Country season with a #3 Ohio ranking (17:33.36) and repeated as the D1 Girl's State Cross Country Champion, running 17:39.00.  In addition to winning her 2nd State D1 title, her season was highlighted by an early win at the Asics Hot Summer Bash, a win at the Saturday Night Lights meet that featured the Top 6 ranked girls in the State at the time (all divisions), a 2nd place finish at the MSU Spartan Invitational, as she led her team to a Team title and an 8th place finish in NY at McQuaid, leading her team to a 2nd place Team finish.
