Lexington Sr. Dominique Clairmonte was voted the 2015 Ohio MileSplit Female Athlete of the Year! Coming off an injury in 2013, she ran with an intense resolve and determination to win in XC and on the track. Not afraid to lead and relentless in pushing the pace, starting with a 2014 D2 OHSAA State XC win, she won four more State titles in 2015, including the 1,600 and 3,200 double at both the OATCCC 2/3 Indoor State Championships and the OHSAA D2 State Championship, establishing herself as one of the most dominant distance runners in Ohio History. Undefeated in Ohio in the regular season winning the D2 OHSAA State Championship in 18:17.10. She was 5th at the NXN Midwest running 17:39.70 and 35th at NXN Nationals with an 18:26.00.
2015 Indoors
1st in the OATCCC D2/3 1,600 and 3,200m races, running 5:03.01 and 11:07.14.
2015 Outdoors
1st in the OHSAA D2 1,600 and 3,200m races, running 4:53.08 and 18:26.00.
2015 Cross Country
Undefeated in Divisional races untill the OHSAA D2 State meet where she ran 4th in 18:29.20.
