60 Meter Dash
Sr. Brittni Mason of West Geauga leads the D2/3 girls in the 60 indoors this season. She ran D1 last year, placing 2nd in 7.62. She was 4th at the MileSplit Showcase this year with a 7.71. So. Mia Knight of Beachwood was 5th last year indoors with an 8.00. She was 11th at Spire this year. Sr. Michaela Butler of Liberty-Benton is undoubtedly one of the best D2 sprinters in Ohio and in Ohio history. Shes has won the OATCCC D2/3 girls 60m the past three years and is has also won the D2 OHSAA D2 100m for the past three years. Two other girls are under 7.9. So. Alysse Wade of St. Peter's Mansfield has run 7.86 and Napoleon Sr. Peyton Lee has gone 7.96. The winner will need to go 7.5 in this one. Can Butler win her 8th State title or will her streak be broken?
