Who Won the Week? Ohio Top Ten Girls Performances

Dublin Coffman So. Abby Steiner ran US #10 100 and #6 200m times. Her 11.58 100m and 23.63 200m will both be new D1 State records. Her 100m time eclipses the old record of 11.59 by Khalilah Carpenter of Columbus Brookhaven set in 2000 and her 200m time breaks Beaumont's Aereon Paynes time of 23.65 set in 2007. In the Milesplit data base, her 100m time is an OH #3 All-Time and her 200m time is an OH #6 All-time.

Aquinas Sr. Athena Welsh moved to the top of the State rankings in both the 1,600 and the 3,200 running 4:54.45 and 10:44.91.

Other State leading performances last week were in the Discus by Anthony Wayne Jr. Madison Pollard with a throw of 151-2, in the Pole Vault by Jr. Macee Ercikson of Madison-Perry and in the 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 relays where the girls from Gahannna Lincoln ran 47.04, 1:39.07 and 3:55.03.
