Tianna Madison Bartoletta won nine State championships, in seven individual events, competing for Elyria.  She is only the 3rd athlete to win four events at the State Championship in back to back years in Ohio HS history (Susan Nash 1983-84 and Jesse Owens 1932-33).  She won three Long Jump championships:  2001 19-4.5, 2002 19-0 and 2003 20-5.75. In the 100m, she was 3rd twice and 1st twice: 2000 3rd 12.04, 2001 3rd 12.10, 2002 1st 12.01 and 2003 1st 11.72.  In the 200 , she was 3rd in 2003 and 1st in both 2001 and 2002 in 24.02 and 24.25. She anchored the Elyria girls 4x100m to two championships in 2002 (47.60) and 2003 (47.12).  She is #1 All-Time Ohio in the Girls Long Jump with a leap of 20-7 1/4 in 2003 and is the current D1 and State meet record holder, jumping 20-05.75 in 2003.
