Division 1 District - Mason - Meet Recap

           Hannah Rasmussen of Kings High School won the 1600m race in a time of 4:53.87. 


The OHSAA Division 1 District - Mason meet took place on May 17th and 19th and it was hosted by Mason High School.  MileSplit Ohio was on site to cover the track and field action. 

Zion Wynn of Loveland High School made his presence known at the Mason Division 1 District meet as he captured three wins.  Wynn won the 100m in 10.78, the 200m in 21.88 and the 400m in 48.96. Wynn secured highly ranked state results with two of his prelims performances, as his 10.74 in the 100m represents an Ohio #8 and his 21.58 in the 200m ranks him in a tie for #3 on the Ohio outdoor list.  Zion Wynn is ranked in a tie for #2 in the state in the 400m event with a 48.61 performance from earlier this season.   


           Loveland's Zion Wynn collected three wins at the Division 1 District - Mason meet.


Sycamore's Miles Menyhert finished 1st in the 800m race with his Ohio #19 time of 1:56.64 and Joe Ingram of Anderson High School won the 1600m event with his Ohio #18 result of 4:18.96. 


           Miles Menyhert of Sycamore High School took a close win in the 800m race. 


           Anderson High School's Joe Ingram won the 1600m race by three seconds. 


Carter Witmer-Gautsch of Mason High School won the 300m hurdles event with his 38.75 effort. This time represents an Ohio #8 for the outdoor season.  


           Mason High School's Carter Witmer-Gautsch took the 300m hurdles win in a time of 38.75. 


Albert Kalala of Withrow High School won the High Jump competition with his jump of 6-06 and Turpin's Drew Spencer took 1st in the Shot Put event with his throw of 52-10.75. 


           Withrow's Albert Kalala took the win in the High Jump event with his jump of 6-06.


           Drew Spencer of Turpin High School won the Shot Put competition with a throw of 52-10.75.


Doneasha Brewer of Withrow High School won the 100m race in 12.06 and in the 100m prelims, Brewer ran the 4th fastest time in the state this season with her 11.85 effort.  Doneasha Brewer also claimed wins in the 200m race and the Long Jump event, as she produced results of 24.74 and 17-07 respectively.  Brewer's 200m time represents an Ohio #8 for the outdoor season. 


           Withrow's Doneasha Brewer won three events at the Division 1 District - Mason meet. 


Withrow's J'Alyiea Smith won the 100m hurdles race in a time of 14.39 and the 300m hurdles event with her 43.67 result.  In the 100m hurdles prelims race, Smith secured the top result in the state this season with her time of 14.23.  J'Alyiea Smith also won the High Jump competition with her jump of 5-06. 


           J'Alyiea Smith of Withrow HS claimed three wins at the Division 1 District - Mason meet. 


Hannah Rasmussen of Kings High School took the win in the 1600m race with her time of 4:53.87 and she also won the 3200m event with her result of 10:42.18.  This time represents an Ohio #3. Mason's Maddie Ullom won the 400m race in an Ohio #7 time of 56.90. 


           Kings High School's Hannah Rasmussen took a narrow win in the 1600m race. 


           Maddie Ullom of Mason High School won the 400m race in an Ohio #7 time of 56.90. 


Lily Hallum of Mason High School won the 800m race in an Ohio #6 time of 2:14.95 and Mason's Nicole Bagby took the win in the Pole Vault competition with her vault of 11-00. 


           Mason High School's Lily Hallum claimed the 800m win in a time of 2:14.95. 


           Nicole Bagby of Mason High School won the Pole Vault event with a vault of 11-00.
