The 100m race was one of many exciting contests at the Division 2 District-Bedford meet.
MileSplit Ohio was on site to cover the track and field competition at the recent Division 2 District - Bedford meet which took place at Bearcat Stadium in Bedford, Ohio.
Jacob Mally of Woodridge High School claimed three wins at the Division 2 District - Bedford meet. Mally won the 110m hurdles race in 14.93 and he took 1st place in the 300m hurdles event with his Ohio tie for #18 result of 39.14. Jacob Mally also won the High Jump competition with his jump of 6-00.

Demetri Keaton of Warrensville Heights High School won the 100m race in a time of 10.88 and he also won the 200m race with his 22.08 result.

St. Vincent-St. Mary's De Amonte King claimed the 400m win with his finishing time of 48.75 and Max Starvaggi of Woodridge High School edged Fairview's Paul Miles to win the 800m race. Starvaggi recorded an Ohio #33 time of 1:56.60 and Miles registered a 1:57.08 result.

Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy teammates Sam Bush and Colin Gaines finished 1 - 2 in the 1600m race at the Division 2 District - Bedford meet. Bush and Gaines worked together throughout the race and in the end it was Sam Bush who took a close victory with his 4:30.97 finishing time. Colin Gaines secured 2nd place with his 4:31.27 effort.

In team relay competition, Warrensville Heights High School won the 4 x 100m with their time of 42.48 and St. Vincent-St. Mary High School took 1st place in the 4 x 200m with their 1:29.01 result.

Nina Jones of Warrensville Heights High School won the 100m hurdles race in a time of 15.42 and St. Vincent-St. Mary's Sara Foster took the 300m hurdles win with her Ohio #6 result of 43.98.

D'lvion Hawkins of Warrensville Heights High School finished 1st in the 100m race as she recorded a time of 13.18 and Buchtel's Dyamond Myers won the 200m race with her 25.75 result.

Halle McClintock of Chagrin Falls High School won the 800m race with her Ohio #6 time of 2:13.78 and her teammate Annie Zimmer won the 1600m event with her 5:10.78 result.

MaQuila Norman of Lutheran West High School claimed the win in the 400m race with her Ohio #18 time of 57.70 and St. Vincent-St. Mary's Leah Lisle won the 3200m event with her 11:31.58 result.

In relay action, Buchtel High School won the 4 x 100m with their time of 50.47 and they also took 1st place in the 4 x 200m with their Ohio #12 result of 1:43.08.
