MileSplit Ohio would like to congratulate Thomas Worthington High School's 4 x 800m relay team on their tremendous performance at the D1 OHSAA State Track and Field Championship that was held at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium on the campus of Ohio State University in Columbus.
Thomas Worthington won the 4 x 800m state championship in an outstanding time of 7:39.86! This result represents a school record, an Ohio #5 All-Time and a U.S. #1 for the 2017 outdoor season!

Ty Banks, Joshua Allen, Andrew Morgan and Arjun Jha
Securing the victory was not an easy task, as Thomas Worthington had to fend off challenges from an extremely deep field of relay teams. Following this race, four Ohio teams are ranked in the top seven in the country.
1 - Thomas Worthington - 7:39.86 - Ohio #1 / U.S. #1
2- Louisville - 7:41.14 - Ohio #2 / U.S. #4
3 - Solon - 7:41.70 - Ohio #3 / U.S. #6
4- Wadsworth - 7:42.20 - Ohio #4 / U.S. #7
4 of the country's top 7 teams competed against one another in this incredibly exciting race.
