Jack Malczewski of the Strongsville Track Club took the 800m win the 17-18 division.
The AAU District Qualifier - Columbus meet took place on Saturday, June 24th at Franklin Heights High School and MileSplit Ohio was on site to observe the exciting track and field action.
Ashaunti Griffin of the Cleveland Express Track Club won the 200m, 400m and Long Jump events in the 15-16 division at the AAU District Qualifier - Columbus meet. Griffin produced 1st place results of 26.78, 1:00.98 and 15-03.75 respectively.

McKenzie Long of the Ohio Heat won the 100m race with her time of 12.09 and she also took 1st place in the 200m event with her 24.99 result. These performances took place in the 17-18 division.

In the 17-18 division, the Cleveland Express Track Club's Nia Robinson took the win in the 400m race with her time of 58.46 and Kennedy Coker of the Dayton Wolverines won the 400m hurdles event with her 1:10.48 effort.

In team relay action, the Ohio Heat won the 4 x 100m with their time of 47.13 and the Cleveland Express Track Club took 1st place in the 4 x 400m with their 4:27.70 result. These performances took place in the 17-18 division.

Del'Mario Hairston of the Cleveland Express Track Club made his presence known in the 15-16 division at the AAU District Qualifier - Columbus meet, as he picked up four wins. Hairston won the 100m, 200m, 400m and Long Jump events with results of 11.12, 22.41, 49.46 and 21-06.00 respectively.

In the 17-18 division, Lonzell Feagin of the Ohio Heat won the 100m in 10.85 and the 200m in 22.25. Feagin also claimed the 400m win with his 49.17 effort.

In the 15-16 division, Kelly Wilson of the Ohio Heat won the 110m hurdles in a time of 15.31 and he also took 1st place in the 400m hurdles event with his result of 59.11. Dawson Rivers of the West Akron Track Club took the 400m hurdles win in the 17-18 division with his time of 58.14.
