The 2017 Berkshire Early Bird Invitational took place on Saturday in Geauga County with Berkshire High School acting as meet host.
University School's Justin Iler finished 1st with his time of 16:24.40. This effort represents a new PR for Iler. Following Iler in the standings were Vince Manning and Matt Kirchner with Highland-Medina's Manning claiming 2nd place with his 16:49.60 result. Lake Catholic's Kirchner recorded a time of 16:55.90 to secure 3rd position.

Solon High School's Olivia Howell posted a tie for Ohio #10 time of 18:32.90 on route to taking the race win. Shaker Heights' Sophie Carrier took 2nd place with her Ohio #15 time of 18:45.30 and her teammate, Alexa Jankowsky finished 3rd with her 19:17.10 result.
