Congratulations to Colonel Crawford's Chad Johnson and Buckeye Valley's Zach Kreft on their outstanding performances at Saturday's Bucyrus Elks Invitational in Bucyrus!
Chad Johnson captured the race win with his terrific time of 14:57.84. This is Johnson's second sub 15 minute performance in as many races this season and he holds down the #1 spot in the national rankings from his 14:54.88 effort at the Colonel Crawford Early Bird Invitational on August 26th.
Zach Kreft was less than 10 seconds behind Johnson, as he also had an exceptional day in Bucyrus. Kreft posted an Ohio #3 and U.S. #6 time of 15:06.83. This represents a new PR for the Buckeye Valley athlete.
Chad Johnson has broken the elusive 15 minute barrier twice already this season.
Buckeye Valley's Zach Kreft claimed 2nd place and established a new PR in the process.
