Congratulations to Cedarville teammates Ethan Wallis and Trent Koning on their fine performances at the Ohio Classic Cross Country Extravaganza which took place last weekend in Hillsboro. Wallis took 4th place with his time of 17:17 and Koning finished close behind in 5th with his 17:24 result.
Wallis and Koning were the top two Cedarville athletes to cross the line and the 1st and 2nd place freshmen performers, as well. Additionally, Wallis set a new PR with his effort while Koning recorded a 17:20.70 result earlier in the season at the Bob Schul Invitational. Wallis currently occupies the 20th position in the Ohio freshmen rankings while Koning's time from the Bob Schul Invitational places him 22nd among 2021 grads.
