St. Charles Heart of the Lion Invite - Complete Results

Vandalia-Butler senior Danny Neff opened up his 2009 indoor campaign this year with a bang.  Neff took home the gold in two events, the 1600m and the 800m.  In the 1600m Neff ran a new state leading time, looking very strong on his way to a 4:17.80, just two seconds off of his 1600m outdoor state meet winning time.  Neff also won the 800m in a time of 1:56.53.

The boys field events saw two student-athletes clear 15'0", Olentangy Liberty's Joey Uhle and St. Xavier's Jack Greenlee. 

Hamilton Township senior Jarret Hopkins hop, skipped and jumped his way to a 43'10.5" in the triple jump to capture a new Ohio #1 mark.

On the girls side, sophomore Katie Landwehr of Tippecanoe was a double winner, taking home gold medals in both the 1600m (5:26.71) and the 3200m (12:02.20).

Angelique Lykes, a senior from Warrensville Heights was also a two time winner.  Lykes won the Long Jump by going 16'11.75 and the 200m by running a 25.85.

Marietta College HS Meet #4 - Complete Results

The performance of the meet belonged to River HS senior, DJ Duke, who went 61'2" to win the shot put.  Duke's throw is the second best throw in Ohio and the eighth best throw in the nation.

Alexis Geiger, a recent Ohio University signee and a senior from Gallia Academy, tied her season best Long Jump (16'9") on her way to a first place finish.  Geiger also finished second in the 55m dast by running a 7.56.

Oberlin College HS Meet #3 - Complete Results

Senior Arnez Hardnick of JFK-Cleveland ran a blazing 6.45 in the 55m dash.  Hardnick's time is the fastest 55m dash recorded (he is currently 8th in the rankings when converted 60m times are included).  Hardnick also won the 200m dash in a time of 22.76 seconds.

In field action, junior Matt Hoty of Perkins went an impressive 58'3", just inches off his best throw of the indoor season, for the win in the shot put.

The boys weight throw gold went to Gimour Academy senior, Tim Vala, who improved on his weight throw PR by heaving the 25lbs. weight 57'2".

On the girls side, Andrea Arnold, a junior from Maple Heights, won the 200m with a time of 25.89.  Arnold also placed second in the 400m with a time of 62.69.

Kenyon College HS Qualifier - Compelte Results

Sophomore Hannah Neczypor of North Royalton ran a new Ohio #1 time in the 1600m by running a 5:09.81.  Neczypor's time is nearly seven seconds faster than the next time on the list, a converted 1500m time.  Neczypor also took home the gold in the 800m by running a 2:22.13 in the 800m run.

Another double winner on the girls side was Brittany Cheese, a senior from Hilliard Davidson who won both the 55m dash (7.41) and the 200m (26.70).

Coty Cochran, a senior from River View had an impressive meet by taking home two golds and a silver.  Cochran won the 55H in 7.76 and the 200m dash in a time of 22.56.  Cochran's silver came in the 55m dash (6.62).

In the field events, Dwayne King of Cleveland Heights, a senior, leapt 6'10" in the high jump for the second meet in a row.
