Congratulations to Medina's Harry Custer and St. Ignatius' Steven Zucca on their strong early season performances at last weekend's Mentor Invitational (Cardinal Classic).
Custer finished 11th with his time of 16:30.90 and Zucca took 13th position with his 16:42.50 result. Custer set a new PR and his time represents an Ohio #12 for sophomores. Additionally, with this effort, he took 8 seconds and 34 seconds off of his previous race times this season. This was also the 3rd race of the season for Zucca and he shaved 13 seconds and 18 seconds off of his first two results of the 2017 XC campaign. Zucca's time is an Ohio #25 for 2020 grads and it is also his new PR.

Harry Custer was the top sophomore performer and the 11th place finisher overall.
Steven Zucca (#162) finished strong on route to his 13th place finish.
