Performance Spotlight: Matt Scrape - Pickerington Central

           Pickerington Central's Matt Scrape won the Tiger Invitational with his time of 15:33.62.  


Congratulations to Pickerington Central's Matt Scrape for his race win at Saturday's Tiger Invitational. Despite the temperature hovering around 90 degrees throughout the morning, Scrape took 22 seconds off of his own meet record, as he cruised through the finish line in a time of 15:33.62.  This is the 3rd win of the season for Matt Scrape and his 2nd straight triumph at his home meet.  He took the 2016 Tiger Invitational win in 15:55.02.  Scrape's previous wins this season were at the Pickerington North XC Classic and the McGowan Invitational where he posted his season's best time of 15:12.70.  Scrape is currently ranked 5th in Ohio and 32nd in the country from his McGowan Invitational result.  

Following his win at the Tiger Invitational, Matt Scrape broke his race down and he also outlined what he's looking forward to for the rest of the cross country season.
