Congratulations to Beavercreek's Taylor Ewert on her stellar result at last weekend's Midwest Meet of Champions in Hilliard. Ewert finished 2nd in the Race of Champions with her time of 17:34.56. This time represents an Ohio #5, a U.S. #30, a new PR and a Beavercreek school record! Additionally, this result ranks Ewert 1st in Ohio and 7th in the country among sophomore athletes. Ewert, who is also highly competitive in the Steeple-Chase and Race Walk events during track season, has three top 5 results in as many race starts to this point in the cross country schedule and she lowered her previous season's best time by 37 seconds! Look out for this Beavercreek athlete to be a top contender at post-season races!
