Pickerington Central's McKenzie Long will continue her track journey in Raleigh, NC.
Congratulations to Pickerington Central's McKenzie Long on the news that she'll be competing for the NC State Wolfpack next year!
Long indicated on her Twitter page how grateful she is to have the opportunity to compete in the ACC for NC State and how thankful she is to her family, teammates and coaches who have all helped with her development in track.
MileSplit Ohio reached out to Coach Peppers of Pickerington Central and he expressed how proud he is of his athlete and how he's looking forward to guiding her through one more successful indoor and outdoor track season prior to her departure for Raleigh.
McKenzie Long has an extensive list of accomplishments on the track including impressive PR's of: 7.54 - 60m (indoor), 11.78 - 100m (outdoor) and 24.11 - 200m (outdoor). Long is the reigning Ohio indoor state champion in the 60m and she's represented herself admirably against national caliber competition at premier meets such as New Balance Nationals Indoor and the AAU Junior Olympic Games.
