Hillsboro High School's Austin Goolsby will compete for the Cincinnati Bearcats next year.
One of Ohio's top pole vault athletes has confirmed that he'll be staying in state when he begins competing at the college level next year. Congratulations to Hillsboro High School's Austin Goolsby on his recent commitment to the University of Cincinnati!
Goolsby has enjoyed success at Hillsboro in the long jump and sprints, however his forte is the pole vault event. He is the reigning D2 outdoor state champion and the 2017 MileSplit Scholastic Showcase at SPIRE champion and he holds impressive PR's of 16-2 (indoor) and 16-0 (outdoor).
Austin Goolsby will look to add to his state title count during his senior year at Hillsboro.
