Troy's Morgan Gigandet is the 2017 DI Ohio State Cross Country Champion.
Congratulations to Morgan Gigandet for her win at the DI OHSAA Ohio State Cross Country Championship! Gigandet posted a stellar time of 17:30.80 and she edged Solon's Olivia Howell in a thrilling finish! Howell secured 2nd place with her 17:32.50 effort. These athletes were shoulder to shoulder coming down the home stretch, trading the lead over the final 200m before Gidandet eventually pulled away to earn her first state championship victory!
