Saint Joseph Academy's Sydney Seymour will compete for the Tennessee Volunteers.
Congratulations to Saint Joseph Academy's Sydney Seymour on the news that she'll be competing for the University of Tennessee next year!
Seymour provided an update about this exciting development in a recent Twitter post:
Sydney Seymour has enjoyed a successful 2017 cross country season, as she picked up three top 5 results including a 1st place finish at the North Coast League Conference Championship meet. Seymour also competed at last weekend's OHSAA Ohio State Cross Country Championship where she finished 20th in the DI race with her time of 18:26.90. Her PR in 5K XC racing is 18:04.10.
On the track, Seymour's events are the 800m, 1600m and 3200m where she holds impressive PR's of 2:24.78, 5:11.89 and 11:20.39 (all during outdoor competition).
