Annie Zimmer / Eastside Track Club
Zimmer, who was the 2017 DII State Cross Country Champion, got her indoor season off to a strong start with a 1st place finish in the 1600m race. Zimmer recorded a time of 5:32.76. The senior, who attends Chagrin Falls High School, has committed to the University of Pennsylvania.
Gurko posted a time of 2:22.92 to win the 800m race. The Nordonia senior will compete for the University of Akron next year.
Chandler continued her winning ways, as the senior sprinter once again claimed 1st place finishes in the 60m and 200m races. Chandler went undefeated at these distances in the 2017 NEOITC series and she also took the double at the Erie Division #1 meet on January 4th. Her times on Thursday were 7.55 and 25.77.

Banks finished 1st in the 400m race with her time of 59.20. The Nordonia senior will compete for the University of Cincinnati next year.
