Lanae-Tava Thomas Leads Stellar Sprints Fields At SPIRE Showcase

           Caisja Chandler / Euclid

Chandler could be a factor in both the 60m and 200m races as the senior has been running fast all season long. Chandler is ranked second in Ohio in the 60m and third in the state in the 200m due to her times of 7.55 and 24.75. The University of Cincinnati commit has dominated the NEOITC series in 2018 and now she'll have an opportunity to show what she can do on a bigger stage.

Alysse Wade / St. Peter's Mansfield

Wade is currently ranked in a tie for sixth in Ohio at the 60m distance from her 7.74 result at the Oberlin #2 meet. The Eastern Michigan commit also excels at the 60m hurdles event.

           Azsah Bradley / Ravenna

Bradley could surprise people at the Showcase, as the junior seems to be coming into her own. Her state rankings are fourth in the 60m and 10th in the 200m due to her 7.69 and 25.84 efforts from earlier this season. The Ravenna athlete thrives when presented with great competition, evidenced by her third-place showing at last year's DII / DIII Indoor State Championship in the 60m event.
