Dustin Horter won the 1 Mile race at the UK High School Invitational with his time of 4:08.24.
Following a lengthy cross country season that saw him race into January at the Great Edinburgh International Challenge, Dustin Horter finally made his 2018 indoor track debut at this past weekend's UK High School Invitational in Lexington.
The Lakota East senior posted an outstanding time of 4:08.24 to secure the 1 Mile win over an extremely deep field that included Scott Thompson of Brentwood, TN. Thompson took the runner-up position with his 4:08.95 clocking. This result represents an Ohio No. 1 in the converted 1600m rankings, a US No. 3 on the 1 Mile list and a new indoor pr for the Indiana University signee. Horter owns a personal best outdoor time of 4:07.82.
