Lakota East's Dustin Horter won the 1 Mile race at the Mason Invite with his time of 4:04.82.
Dustin Horter claimed the 1 Mile win at Friday's Rod Russell Mason Invitational with his US No. 1 time of 4:04.82. Despite a delay to the race start due to less than favorable weather conditions in the area, Horter capped off a great meet with his new personal best time at the distance. He usurped his 4:07.82 effort from last year's Brooks PR Invitational. The senior out-paced a field that consisted of many of Ohio's most talented distance runners and he climbed up to number five on the state's all-time list. His 1600m split was 4:03.40, which is a new state record!
