OHSAA Division 1 Region 3 Meet - Boys Report

           Matt Scrape / Pickerington Central 

Scrape claimed his second straight Division 1 Region 3 win in the 3200m event.  The Syracuse University signee finished first on Friday due to his time of 9:10.40.  

           Lucas Bons / Dublin Coffman 

Bons posted a time of 4:13.74 to win the 1600m race.  He's ranked eighth in the state from a previous result this season (4:13.46). 

           Ashwin Briggs / Pickerington North 

Briggs set a new pr on route to winning the 800m race in 1:52.68.  This result places the Pickerington North senior at No. 4 in the state rankings. 

           Luke Finnegan / Westerville Central 

Finnegan won the 400m race with his OH No. 2 time of 48.02.  This result represents a new pr and a Westerville Central school record. 

           Evan Matthews / Pickerington Central 

Matthews won the 300m hurdles competition due to his 37.57 effort.  The Pickerington Central junior recorded an OH No. 1 time of 37.46 during his prelims race on Wednesday. 

           Jayden Rodgers / Olentangy Orange 

Rodgers finished first in the 110m hurdles event with his 14.16 result.  The Olentangy Orange senior ran an OH No. 4 time of 14.06 during preliminary action.  

           Brandon Mosher / Big Walnut 

Mosher claimed the shot put and discus event wins due to his throws of 56-4.25 and 162-4, respectively.  

           Derek Van Vlerah / Dublin Coffman 

Van Vlerah won the high jump competition with his jump of 6-6.  This result represents an OH tie for No. 15 and a new pr for the Dublin Coffman junior. 

           Pickerington Central / 4 x 400m Relay Team 

The quartet of Terry Simuel, Evan Matthews, Crockett Schooler and Zac Robinson recorded an OH No. 1 / US tie for No. 30 time of 3:16.15 to win the 4x400m relay.  

           LaCarr Trent / Gahanna Lincoln 

Trent captured the 100m and 200m wins due to his times of 10.71 and 21.52, respectively.  The Gahanna Lincoln junior had an impressive overall meet, as he posted an impressive 10.62 (tie for OH No. 2) result in Wednesday's preliminary round.
